Summary:
Deliver support to end users on how to use various types of software programs efficiently and effectively in fulfilling business objectives, this includes troubleshooting applications and software for all external customers. Also responsible for assisting in the design, configuration / development, maintenance and improvement of in-house software applications.
Responsibilities:
Resolve all technical issues related to the Company’s applications suite utilizing excellent customer service skills, problem solving skills, and technical thinking / reasoning skills following established support process and metrics guidelines.
Assist in the development, deployment and maintenance of Healthcare Claims Software (HCS) applications.
Measure and analyze incoming software issues to determine root causes and develop technical and training solutions to minimize reoccurrences and severity and report results to manager.
Accurately document all customer issues, resolution steps, and gather feedback in support tracking software to enhance identifying and reporting trends leading to recurring technical problems.
Gather and forward customer feedback and suggestions for product improvement.
Write SQL scripts to manipulate data including insert/update/select and stored procedure development and tuning.
Technical / Specialized skills:
2 to 5 years of professional working experience/knowledge of application support, migration and upgrades.
Strong analysis and troubleshooting skills.
SQL and SQL Server (scripting, stored procedure development, tuning).
VB.NET / C# / MVC / Angular (a plus).
Healthcare / Benefits administration experience (a plus).
Ability to handle several priorities and manage knowledge of multiple products and their features.
Issue tracking software experience.
Quick learner, eager to leverage new technologies in a dynamic team environment and educate self on new releases as well as test functionality and report on issues found.
Demonstrated success with critical thinking and root cause analysis.
Must be collaborative and capable or working in a team environment while maintaining a positive attitude.
Proficient with MS products including Word, Excel, Visio and PowerPoint.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $65,000.00 – $85,000.00 per year
