Position : Assistant General Manager
Description :
Coho Oceanfront Lodge is currently seeking an Assistant General Manager. The ideal candidate has experience in an environment where they are comfortable leading and working in all areas of operations.
This position helps manage the day-to-day operations and assignments of the hotel. You will assist with the planning and organizing the hotel team, communicate goals, and schedule/assign work. You will comply with and advise staff of formal policies and procedures, identify opportunities and resolve issues while you provide feedback, corrective action, or other staff-related actions in accordance with company rules and policies. The Assistant General Manager alerts the General Manager or Human Resources of serious issues.
Responsibilities include ensuring that product quality standards are met in all areas of the hotel as it relates to the appearance, levels of maintenance and cleanliness; establishing and maintaining preventative maintenance programs to protect the physical assets of the hotel and achieving productivity and quality goals.
The Assistant General Manager will assist in establishing performance goals for employees, provide regular feedback and develop a succession plan to ensure adequate future bench strength. You will ensure all staff are properly trained and have the tools and equipment needed to effectively carry out their job functions and ensure a safe and secure environment for guests, employees, and hotel assets. Additionally, you will need to achieve established safety compliance goals and complying with all standards and inspection requirements.
QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:
· 2-3 years of management experience.
· Flexible work schedule
· May be required to work nights, weekends, and/or holidays
