Summary:
Seagen is seeking a highly motivated individual who will be responsible for supporting cross-functional activities across the product portfolio. This position will partner with program and functional leaders and work in close collaboration with the Global Program Manager, Global Product Team, sub-teams and co-development partners to advance the product through the phases of development. In addition to providing support to key activities and team members, this role will serve as a learning opportunity for those interested in gaining experience in cross-functional drug development.
Responsibilities:
Provide program and project management support for key activities, including Global Program Team sub-teams and working group meetings
Working in coordination with the Global Program Manager and functional leads, develop and maintain high-quality, integrated project plans (IPPs) that align with overall program strategy
IPPs will be generated and maintained for both Early and Late phase drug development programs
Conduct analyses based on the IPP and generate reports and visualizations that will drive communication, scenario planning, timeline optimization and decision making
Working closely with the Global Regulatory Lead, provide project management support for select regulatory submissions (e.g., new INDs)
Provide project management support to functional and enterprise process improvement and new tool implementation initiatives
Qualifications:
Minimum of 3 years of project management experience required
Drug Development knowledge with understanding of at least one functional area preferred: cross-functional understanding a plus. Relevant functions may include Research, Preclinical, Clinical, Manufacturing, Regulatory, Commercial, as well as associated sub-functions e.g., Medical Affairs, Health Economics, Translational Sciences, etc.
Cross-functional program/project management experience desirable
Experience facilitating project team meetings, managing communications and promoting good decision-making practices highly valued
Highly collaborative with outstanding communication and relationship management skills, high emotional intelligence
Education:
Bachelor’s Degree required. Advanced degree (MS, MBA, Ph.D.) in biomedical sciences, business or other discipline related to drug development highly preferred
