Description :
St. Louis Forensic Treatment Center’s South Campus is looking for a Behavioral Technician to join our treatment teams. This is a vocational position responsible for collecting data by observing client behavior and/or administering standardized intelligence and/or personality tests.
This is mid-level technical work collecting data by observing client behavior. Observes clients and records behavior and interactions. Enters observational data into computerized assessment systems for summarization and analysis. Participates in reliability and coding checks. Maintains files and records of behavioral evaluations. Assists with research by gathering data. Performs other related work as assigned.
Successful applicants will possess a high school diploma or proof of high school equivalency and have two or more years of experience as a Behavioral Technician Trainee or two or more years under the direction of a Licensed Psychologist or Licensed Professional Counselor or two or more years of experience involving the care and treatment of clients in a mental health setting.
