Make a Positive Impact
First State Community Bank is looking for candidates to operate our bank inside Farmington High School. You will have hands-on experience as a bank teller and deposit services representative while learning the ropes of what it means to be a part of a community bank. All participants will have a mentor relationship with an employee at our downtown Farmington location. This provides an opportunity to learn more about the inner workings of a bank first hand!

Responsibilities in Accordance with Our Corporate Values
Professionalism

Build trust with customers by accurately and efficiently processing transactions
Works as part of a team to create exceptional customer experiences

Initiative

Daily attendance and participation in required duties
Completion of Principles of Banking course

Service

Constantly seek to improve the financial health of customers through the recommendations and education of FSCB products that meet their needs
Is a consistent advocate and ambassador of FSCB corporate values both inside and outside the bank

Accountability

Attendance at Quarterly Board Meetings
Quarterly meetings with a mentor corresponding to student bank position

Qualifications

Farmington High School Senior for 2022 – 2023
Prior cash handling experience preferred
Prior sales experience a plus
Exceptional customer service skills
Strong communication skills
General clerical and office technology skills
