Business Analyst at Providence Medical Group
The Business Analyst is responsible for eliciting and documenting user requirements; for assessing technical solutions requests and validating Regional IS recommendations. Analyzes current clinical system processes to document current workflows, perform gap analysis, and develop future state workflows. Performs QA/User Acceptance Testing for new system releases. This position supports Providence Medical Group, Clinical Programs, and other PH&S ambulatory clinics.
Required qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree plus 1 year experience in information technologies, healthcare administration or clinical field; or
Associate’s Degree plus 3 years experience in information technologies, healthcare administration or clinical field; or
Equivalent education/experience.
Experience in business analysis.
Experience using desktop software including Microsoft Office Professional Suite.
Demonstrated experience documenting user requirements.
Experience developing functional and usability test plans, scenarios, and scripts.

Preferred qualifications:

Experience in project management.
Experience using electronic health record applications.
Experience with Epic.

About the Team
Providence Physician Enterprise (PE) is a service line within Providence serving patients across seven states with quality, compassionate, coordinated care. Collectively, our medical groups and affiliate practices are the third largest group in the country with over 11,000 providers, 900 clinics and 30,000 caregivers.
