Description :
This recruitment will be used to fill two part-time (maximum of 12 hours per week) Teaching Assistant positions for the Department of Chemistry working with students taking the Organic Chemistry courses: CH 334, 335, 336.
Position Duties

Duties include:

70% holding office hours
20% attending class (usually MWF 10-10:50 am)
10% grading
Minimum Qualifications

Additional Required Qualifications

This position is designated as a critical or security-sensitive position; therefore, the incumbent must successfully complete a criminal history check and be determined to be position qualified as per OSU Standard 576-055-0000 et seq. Incumbents are required to self-report convictions and those in youth programs may have additional criminal history checks every 24 months.
Preferred (Special) Qualifications

Grades of B+ or better in CH 334, CH 335, and CH 336
Majoring in chemistry
Working Conditions / Work Schedule

Anticipated hours per week: 12 hours
May require weekend and/or evening hours.
