Position : Consultant II – Supply Chain
Description :
As a Consultant II, you will consult with clients on comprehensive service line workflows, including current state and future state, and work with clients to map out stop-start-continue processes to determine how the system will be designed and tested. You will identify, resolve and report solution status, risks, and issues to client and project leadership. You will coach clients on data collection and system design requirements and analyze to determine optimal solution build and implementation. You will also consult with internal project and organizational teams to bi-directionally share configuration status, project timelines and project updates, and verify configuration requests. As a key member of the team, you will maintain client relationships and navigate through conflict and complex relationship situations to achieve business objectives. You will coach and mentor associate consultants and support internal team initiatives.

This position offers a Remote working environment. Meaning you can live and work in your current geographical location and work primarily remote. There could be times you will be requested to travel and/or visit a Cerner office or client site. #Remote

Qualifications
Basic Qualifications
At least 5 years total combined related work experience and completed higher education, including:
At least 1 year healthcare information technology (HCIT) consulting, HCIT support and/or other client-facing or information technology (IT) solution work experience
At least 4 years additional work experience directly related to the duties of the job and/or completed higher education
Receipt of the appropriate government security clearance card applicable for your position
Due to the client contract you will be assigned, this position requires you to be a U.S. citizen
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree
Millennium Dental testing and issue resolution experience
Design and build experience
Conversion and Current State assessment experience
Workflow updates and validation experience
Expectations
Must reside in or be willing to relocate to an already virtually approved location
Willing to travel up to 50% as needed
Willing to work additional or irregular hours as needed and allowed by local regulations
Work in accordance with corporate and organizational security policies and procedures, understand personal role in safeguarding corporate and client assets, and take appropriate action to prevent and report any compromises of security within scope of position
Perform other responsibilities as assigned
