Description :
Ensures the Y is attractive and clean by completing all duties listed on the daily schedule and maintains upkeep of assigned area and equipment. May perform wet and dust mopping, dusting, trash removal, recycling, window washing, pool cleaning, painting, vacuuming, seasonal activities dealing with lawn care and snow removal, and general cleaning. Replaces soap, paper towels, and other supplies when needed. Will maintain needed supplies in custodial and first aid areas, operate related motorized and non-motorized equipment. Assure proper safety standards and completion of tasks are done in a timely manner. Records and reports all needed repairs, and assists with repairs when directed.
Must have the ability to bend, reach, twist and lift up to 40 lbs. Must work well in a team settng and have excellent communication skills. Hold current CPR, AED and First Aid certifications or complete at earliest opportunity.
