Job Description:
Director Pharmacy

Provides leadership, direction and administrative oversight for the operations and strategic direction of the pharmacy operations.

Full-Time Position (80 Hours Per Pay Period)

Shift: Days Days: Varied

Wages Based Upon Experience

SKILLS AND ABILITIES

(Essential job requirements listed in

Working knowledge of but not limited to: label maker, unit-dose packaging machine, heat-sealer for single unit dose packaging, cassette drawers, automated dispensing system and vertical/horizontal intravenous hoods
Demonstrates the ability to use a personal computer and various software programs applicable to the position
Demonstrates the ability to operate applicable office equipment
Exhibits the ability to deal effectively interdepartmentally & with the public
Exhibits the ability to maintain confidentiality, think and act independently with minimal supervision
Demonstrates strong financial management and organizational skills and proven leadership ability
Maintains regular, consistent and punctual attendance at the assigned job location

EDUCATION/CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSES/DEGREES

Current Oregon Pharmacist licensure
Board mandated PIC training
American Heart Association Healthcare Provider Basic Life Support (BLS) or must be obtained by the last day of the month after the 60-day grace period
Pharm D preferred
Master of Science in Health Care Administration or related field preferred
Completion of an ASHP accredited residency program preferred

EXPERIENCE

Five years of clinical experience
Three years of supervisory experience in an acute care Pharmacy setting required
