Description :
We are seeking two College Success & Career Coaches at the Cascade and Rock Creek campuses. Career Pathways & STEP program supports student access and progress in their career pathways, from adult basic skills programs to Career and Technical Education (CTE) degrees, we help students meet their goals. We also focus on college completion, and career opportunities for Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) recipients at PCC. These positions are grant funded.
For all positions, candidates will need to demonstrate a deep commitment to student success, equity, and inclusion. Candidates should have experience and/or possess an understanding of systems and institutions that impact individuals’ educational opportunities, and economic mobility. Staff will need to apply a poverty-informed and racial justice lens to their work. Staff will be collaborating frequently with partners, employers, and/or internal college staff and faculty. Candidate Profile

These qualifications, skills and abilities are critical for success in this position. Throughout the screening process, you will be evaluated based on the demonstration of these qualifications.

Demonstrated experience collaborating, communicating, and working in a team and across departments, organizations, and institutions to accomplish project or program goals.
Demonstrated experience in developing rapport supporting students from diverse backgrounds to support student success and career development.
Demonstrated experience with strengths-based, outcome driven direct case management or coaching. Experience collaborating with external partners (employers, community-based organizations, K-12, workforce development partners, or state agencies) to increase student education or career opportunities, and/or resource/benefit access.
Proven experience with data collection and documentation management to support student programing and grant outcomes.
Demonstrated awareness of one’s own cultural background and how it influences perception, values, and practices and how these perceptions, values, and practices shape their work.

Minimum Qualifications
To be considered, your application must demonstrate these minimum qualifications. (Experience is calculated based on the start and end dates you provide multiplied by the number of hours per week worked).
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, Social Science, Communications, or related field. Experience performing the duties of this job may substitute for the degree requirement on a year-for-year basis. Demonstrated experience working with college students, clients who have barriers in achieving self sufficiency, developmentally or physically disabled adults, or at-risk populations. Demonstrated experience within area of specialization of position applied for. Experience in case management in a social service or educational setting. Fluency in a second language may be required depending on position.

$50,200.00 to $53,777.00 (Step 3); based on qualifications, experience, and internal equity.

Position Grade Salary Range

$50200 to $87046 Annual Salary

Working Conditions and Physical Requirements

Work is typically performed in an office environment. Incumbents regularly drive to business sites which requires the use of a personal vehicle. Occasional evening and weekend hours is required.
