Our company is currently looking for a customer-oriented Operations Associate to help us grow our business and achieve our organizational goals. As an Operations Associate, you’ll be interacting with customers and helping them to resolve their problems and questions. Your role will be to support the execution of business operations, including invoice review and customer service. You should be highly-organized, as you will create and manage customer support tickets to make sure we solve any problems in a timely fashion. We want you to have excellent verbal and written communication skills, as well as the ability to pay attention to detail. The Operations Associate will capture all customer feedback related to product development, which will contribute to improvements in products and services offered.
Export Specialist is primarily responsible for tracking and tracing the movement of air or ocean shipments while ensuring proper and timely coordination. Duties and responsibilities include the following (other duties may be assigned):
Gather shipment information, create new bookings, handle documentation and data entry.
Negotiate rates with carriers and truckers.
Issue rate quotes to customers and overseas offices.
Liaising with customers to obtain information to ensure correct measures are in place and customers’ needs are met.
Issue correct documentation as set out in the instructions obtained.
Arrange on time pick up and deliveries for cargo.
Maintain all files ensuring they are billed correctly in accordance with procedures provided by management.
Coordinate with overseas offices, customers, vendors, etc.
Follow up on daily report for tracking and tracing of shipments, ensure bills of lading and pre-alerts, are issued in a timely manner.
Requirements: 1-3 Years Import/Export Operations experience required
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $22.00 – $24.00 per hour
