As a Facilities UPW Technician your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

Perform repairs and preventative maintenance on a wide variety of building and facility equipment, fixtures and systems.
Install, troubleshoot, repair and maintain a wide variety of facility plumbing, mechanical, electrical, heating and cooling systems.
Conduct preventative maintenance inspections and performs required preventative maintenance duties.
Assignments are semi routine in nature.
Work performed within generally defined parameters. Have some degree of judgment required in resolving nonstandard problems.
Normally receives general instructions on most work.

Qualifications
You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. Position not eligible for Intel immigration sponsorship.

Minimum Qualifications:

The candidate must possess at least one of the following:

Associate’s technical degree with 3+ years of experience in Ultra-Pure water operations or comparable facilities experience.
Bachelor’s degree in a STEM field.
3+ years of equivalent military training in Mechanics / Machinists / Electronics / Avionics / Automotive Mechanics / Maintenance / EOD / Equipment / Repairers / Systems / Technician / Sonar Training
5+ years of experience where preventative maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting are a primary job requirement for the position in lieu of a degree.

Candidates must be willing to:

Regularly lift to 25 lbs.
Wear closed toe shoes for the duration of shift.
Walk 3-5 miles and stand or sit for up to 9 hours within a shift.
Push carts for a distance of at least 100 m.
Climb and perform work on ladders or at heights.
Work on a Day or Night Shift compressed work week schedule. Shifts are twelve hours long and rotate from three to four days a week.

Preferred Qualifications:

Water/ Purification Degree.
David H. Paul UPW certification or equivalent would be an added advantage.
Facilities maintenance experience.
