Position Overview:
Amcon Laboratories is seeking a Graphic Artist with up to one year of experience. The Graphic Artist must be an organized, detailed-oriented graphic/production designer with a high concentration on print production. Web design, photography, and email campaign software skills will be utilized within this position. The systems and technologies used by our Graphic Artists are Adobe Creative Suite, Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and Microsoft Office Suite.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Design various established print pieces including catalogs, brochures, sales flyers, and other direct mail advertisements.
Collaborates with marketing and sales departments to design client proposals.
Photograph and edit photos for both print and web use.
Design and layout customer artwork/logos according to specifications for imprinting by our in-house promotional product print department.
Modification or touch up logos submitted by customers that do not meet our printing requirements.
Create graphics and large sale signage for trade show booths.
Propose new print concepts to marketing department.
Qualifications:
Associates Degree or higher in Graphic Design or related field.
0-1 year of experience in graphic/production design.
Adaptable with an acute ability to multi task workflow for urgent or changing priorities.
Initiative to take on responsibilities and work independently without a high level of oversight.
Effective, clear communicator in written format specifically proof reading and grammar skills.
Excellent time management skills.
Preferred Qualifications (Not Required)
Video editing, copywriting, and product packaging experience.
Background in buying/sourcing print material.
Knowledge of Adobe Premiere.
