Description :
Principal Duties and Responsibilities (Essential Functions**):

Cleans OSF housing units; which includes but it is not limited to scrubbing kitchens, cleaning ovens, around and under appliances, tiles and grouting; laundering linens; and removing stains from bathroom tiles, toilets and floors.
Prepares housing units for occupancy and departure; which includes but is not limited to rearranging and transporting furniture; preparing welcome baskets; placing required items and welcome notes; unlocking doors and organizing guest access; and placing exit notes and checkout information in apartments.
Repairs soft and durable goods.
Assists guests by transporting individuals and goods; which includes but is not limited to delivering incoming and outgoing boxes to apartments; grocery runs; receiving calls, texts, and emails and creating physical plant work orders; and taking individuals to appointments as assigned.

7. Ensures cleaning equipment stays in good working condition by using and storing it appropriately and reporting defects as they are discovered.
8. Participates in weekly Company Management meetings and training sessions.
9. Participates in any Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion trainings.
10. May participate in departmental “on call” rotation (with other Company Management employees); which may include transporting individuals, unlocking doors, reporting urgent housing/maintenance needs, responding to Stage Management needs, etc.

Qualifications & Skills:
REQUIRED:
Work Experience: One year of experience in commercial or independently contracted cleaning desired. Knowledge of proper use of cleaning supplies. Experience cleaning and maintaining wood finishes.
Other Qualifications: A valid driver’s license and personal vehicle. A working cell phone.
Physical Ability: Must be able to climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, and lift up to 50 lbs.
Other Skills, Ability and/or Knowledge: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to make quick decisions, solve problems and remain calmed during emergencies are required.
Special Position Requirements: This position is required to pass and maintain a clear background check and driving record.
Special Hours Requirements: Hours vary according to the needs of the department; morning and weekend availability is required. This position may at times participate in a rotating emergency phone coverage, which may include evening, night and weekend hours.
PREFERRED:
Good computer skills including Word, Excel and Outlook are strongly preferred. Experience working unsupervised a plus.
