You will be working in a Meat Processing facility (Lamb and Beef) based in Pedricktown, NJ. They sell to Food ServiceCompanies and Major Retailers across the USA and Canada.The Health and Safety Coordinator will spend up to 70% of their time on the floor & 30% in the office focusing on: Hazard Identification Machine Guarding Assessments Train employees and update SOPs & LOTO procedures Various Daily, Weekly, and Monthly Inspections : PPE Inspections, Critical Control Checks & Workplace Inspections Lead the Joint Safety Committees which involves; Taking Minutes, Assigning corrective actions, coordinatingmonthly meetings Act as a Health & Safety resource for both Production & Salaried employees Implement Health and Safety measures and comply with OSHA Lead The COVID Response Team in New Jersey – Ability to perform onsite Rapid tests, Contact tracings & resourcefor the team. Oversee the Health & Safety of the Warehouse department Ability to lead incident investigation, implement appropriate corrective actions & track to completion Ability to report & oversee Workers Compensation Claims Facilitate & Organize Monthly Health & Safety training via Alchemy Manager Software

Salary: $70,000.00 – $84,294.43 per year
