As an IT Support Technician, you will provide support to end users for computer, application, system, device, access, connectivity and hardware issues. This position requires a professional, self-motivated, and detail-oriented person to provide daily front line system support to our users.As a member of the ACR team you will:
Provide end user support via the IT Support Management System by processing trouble ticket activity and work orders as required. Log all calls and resolutions and respond to all help desk calls in a timely manner
Train and support local and remote users in applications, provide technical support, and help end users with special projects
Provide direct support service, repairs and maintenance of computer hardware and peripheral equipment. Install new software releases, system upgrades, evaluate and install patches and resolve software related problems
Deploy end user computers/laptops/devices; provide basic IT training and knowledge; maintain up-to-date virus protection on the servers, desktops and notebook computers; and plan and test rollout strategies
Create and maintain network users, user environment, directories, and security by conforming to established guidelines
Monitor network services and infrastructure and respond to network emergencies
Qualified candidates will possess the following:
3+ years of helpdesk, networking, and communications experience
Bachelor’s degree in a related field desired
Active Directory and desktop imaging experience preferred
Strong customer-service and training skills
Excellent knowledge and experience with Microsoft Office
Superior verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work independently on multiple projects simultaneously and to meet deadlines
Work Location: This position will be Primary Remote/Hybrid – requires employee be “within a commutable distance” for business reasons and able to come into our Reston, VA headquarters 1-2 days a week. Qualified candidates must have reliable internet service, professional discipline and have excellent time management skills.

This job requires employees to work in the office one to two days a week.
