Overview:

This is a REMOTE position and will require occassional travel to the St. Louis, MO office.

The Learning Business Partner collaborates with the VP, Strategic Learning to lead the execution of strategic ministry-wide learning initiatives partnering with Mercy leaders, Mission, Integrated Marketing, and other Human Resources co-workers as well as external vendors and experts to identify learning needs, determine strategies and execute learning solutions that support our strategic plans and ministry vision. The Learning Business Partner performs these duties and responsibilities in a manner consistent with our mission, values, and Mercy Service Standards.

Qualifications:

Experience: Minimum of five (5) years’ experience in Learning and Development or Talent Development roles consisting of a combination of leadership, management, and individual contributor and/or consulting roles.
Required Education: Master’s degree required. Current enrollment in a preferred master’s degree program or the requisite years of experience may be substituted for the degree.
Other:

Accomplished L&D leader with deep knowledge in adult learning theories
Experience with developing and executing capability or learning academies with a strong emphasis in experiential learning
Superior relationship-building and interpersonal skills
Strong strategic mindset
Superior curriculum design and instructional design skills
Ability to translate both quantitative and qualitative data into meaningful summaries that lead to action
Documented program development that required partnership with business leaders and subject matter experts that aligned effective and strategic learning solutions with business impact
Demonstrated facilitation/training skills and coaching to trainers/educators/change agents
Superior project management skills
Ability to use WebEx, MS Teams and other technology to lead engaging/collaborative virtual meetings
Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Preferred Qualifications:

Master’s in Curriculum Design, Instructional Technology, Adult Learning, or related field with additional studies in Learning or Organizational Development
10 plus years of applicable experience
Experience partnering with both internal leaders, subject matter experts, and external partners for learning solutions
Experience with LMS and eLearning course design
Varied background a plus, such as prior health care experience and/or corporate learning and development experience
