Description :
SupplyHouse.com, a successful e-commerce heating, plumbing, and HVAC supply company, is seeking a Generalist to add to our Human Resources Team! This individual will be responsible for supporting core functions of the Human Resources Department and crafting the employee experience. A strong focus for this team member will be placed on compliance, leave management, and employee communications. Location: Cranbury, NJ (On-site)
Job Type: Full-Time, Non-Exempt
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 9:00 a.m. – 5:30 p.m.
Salary: $50,000 – $60,000 annually
Responsibilities:

Plan and administer employee leave of absences (Medical, FMLA, Disability, Workers Compensation, etc.)
Organize and facilitate employee training initiatives including anti-harassment and anti-discrimination trainings for new and current employees
Assist with ensuring compliance with company policies and labor regulations
Assist with COVID-19 situations in the workplace including communicating with employees and facilitating company COVID-19 policies and procedures
Support the Human Resources Team Lead with communications to employees
Perform administrative functions including electronic file scanning, file compliance, and upkeep of personal or medical records
All other duties as assigned by the Human Resources Team Lead and/or SupplyHouse.com management

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree (Human Resource Management, Business, Psychology, or another related field preferred)
Previous experience working in a Human Resources position is a plus!
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail with a knack for juggling multiple priorities
Ability to maintain confidential employee records and strict records
Willingness to help wherever needed and comfortable with ambiguity
Highly collaborative and self-motivated team player
Ability to be flexible and handle unexpected challenges quickly, calmly, and efficiently, while demonstrating strong judgement
