The Manager of Internal Accessibility Services will lead a team of ASL interpreters and coordinators, live captioning, and contracted service providers. This position will serve as point of contact and resource for providing accessible communications and will continuously look to implement process improvement and ways to leverage advances in technology to keep T-Mobile on the forefront of accessible communication provision. The manager will monitor interpreter spend, anticipate need, and collect and provide feedback to service providers.

Manage and lead enterprise-wide ASL interpreting and captioning services, accounting for linguistic and cultural considerations, and ensure adherence to applicable codes of professional conduct..
Serve as an advocate and educator for Accessible Communications across the enterprise, championing the effective and appropriate use of services across all lines of business.
Determine annual budget and partner with coordinator to monitor and anticipate coverage needs.
Consult stakeholders on integration of interpreting and captioning into recordings and virtual/onsite requests.
Record and report data, goals, and outcomes.
Participate in improvement projects and professional development.
Also responsible for other Duties/Projects as assigned by business management as needed.

Education:
ASL/English Interpreting Required
Bachelors Degree with Disability Studies Preferred

Work Experience:
4-7 years Professional interpreting experience in business or technology setting
2-4 years Experience leading, coordinating, managing, and/or developing teams
ASL fluency and knowledge of working with Deafblind individuals
Exceptional demonstration of ethics and collaboration
Proficiency in productivity and collaboration applications preferred
Outstanding attention to details.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Ability to handle confidential information.
Demonstrate superior management skills in accessible communication accommodations in a business setting involving multiple participants.
American Sign Language Phenomenal voice-to-sign and sign-to-voice interpretation skills.
Video Conferencing WebEx, Zoom, Microsoft Team

Licenses and Certifications:
Certification from: RID (Registry of Interpreters for the Deaf); NAD (National Association of the Deaf); or BEI (Board of Evaluation of Interpreters) Master level
