Job summary
The Amazon Gift Card business is a rapidly growing, multi-billion dollar business. Gift Cards drive Amazon flywheel adding new customers and driving higher engagement from existing customers by providing the most convenient and desirable gifting options to customers for all occasions, offering the most effective incentive options for business customers, and making the Amazon Balance management experience intuitive and easy.

The Gift Card Marketing team is responsible for developing marketing and merchandising strategies, activating campaigns to improve awareness, acquisition and repeat engagement for customers with all our gift card products including physical gift cards, e-gift cards, Reload and B2B products in all channels and all form factors.

This is an exciting opportunity for a high-performing, fast-moving, strategic marketer to take on a role in the North America Gift Cards Marketing team. The Senior Product Marketing Manager will be responsible for strategy and execution to drive new customer acquisition and customer engagement of gift cards products. You will partner with Product Management, Channel Management, Supply Chain, Design, Business Intelligence, and Finance. This role offers great opportunity to work on a breadth of projects across many aspects of marketing and business strategy and execution.

We are looking for a candidate that brings enthusiasm for the customer and experience with digital and offline marketing. The ideal candidate is a thought leader in marketing, has strong business judgment, has a track record of successful marketing and relationship management, and can deliver both top and bottom line goals. Proven analytical thinking is key – you should be fluent in analyzing both business performance and marketing metrics, have strong project management skills, attention to detail, and exceptional collaboration skills. You should be a self-starter and effective communicator, able to think strategically and execute flawlessly (diving deep on business performance drivers, optimizing placement and promotions by analyzing data).

Key job responsibilities

Develop and execute new customer acquisition and customer engagement strategy including customer targeting, messaging, creative, promotions, channels and timing,
Drive research to understand our customers and how we can better serve them by developing new gifting form factors.
Own on-Amazon material including any tests to develop and refine efficacy
Evaluate the efficacy of all marketing and marketing spend on and off-Amazon, and use findings to refine strategy
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including teams managing complementary payments products, to drive launches of new retailers, product iterations, product positioning, etc.
Influence regional teams with best practices
