Description :
SUMMARY This position is responsible for planning work orders and operations throughout the manufacturing floor.
This position can be a hybrid work schedule. 80% in office and 20% work from home.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Runs periodic planning meetings with Program Management & Production
Creates daily production schedule for Production and Prototype divisions.
Monitors Planning Workbench and releases work orders appropriately
Assigns target start and completion dates for manufacturing and processing operations.
Synchronizes supply (Jobs) to demand (Forecasts, safety-stock, Orders) with optimized lot sizing.
Updates jobs and scheduling to comply with Engineering Change Order and Deviations.
Manages stock status report of Kanban items and release jobs for replenishment.
Manages Production Planner Workbench and reacts to changes in demands.
Collaborates with Purchasing, Operations, Program Management, & Engineering to ensure customer requirements are met
Monitors capacity on work-centers for shop floor prioritization
Manages resources to ensure information are up to date
Considers ETO/MTO/MTS job types for best fit to demand schedules and supply capability.
Work performed in this job is most effectively done on site; therefore, attendance is an essential function of the job.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES This job has no formal supervisory responsibilities.

EDUCATION &/or EXPERIENCE
Experience in an electronic assembly environment.
Minimum 2 years production scheduling/planning experience.
Minimum 2 years of experience in working with an ERP system.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
Excellent communication skills.
Strong analytical and statistical skills
Understand lean manufacturing approach
APICS Certification is a plus
LANGUAGE, MATHEMATICAL, & REASONING SKILLS
Ability to respond effectively to inquiries or complaints, including the use of negotiation, to arrive at “win-win” results, whenever possible.
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions, and using this knowledge to contribute effectively within discussions on controversial or complex topics.
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
