Description :
This shift is Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday 8:30am-12:30pm
FEMALE Phlebotomist and UDS Specimen collector needed. Drawing patients and collecting urine specimen at one of our collection sites at a Behavioral Health Program. You will be working independently and must be organized and self sufficient.
MUST be reliable
MUST live within 30 minutes
MUST have Phlebotomy certificate
Job Description for Specimen Processor / Phlebotomist
EXCLUSIVE DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Collection of urine and oral drug screens and Phlebotomy
Entering data regarding collections into LIS system or by paper requisition
Insuring all paperwork pertaining to collections are completed properly by the collector and donor at the time of the collection
Customer relations including; interactions with donors, exchanges with clients requesting collections, and communications with Truetox Laboratories’ staff
Responsible for ensuring all paperwork and samples are secured in the designated areas
Responsible for immediately reporting any incidences that would hinder the ability to successfully complete a collection to the Office Manager
EXPEREINCE & REQUIRED SKILLS
Ability to write short correspondence; good typing skills are mandatory
Excellent communication skill are required
Must have the ability to comprehend instructions in several forms; written, oral, or diagram
Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations
Ability to draw difficult sticks
Knowledge of Venipuncture Standards
Salary: $17.00
