As an employee of Medtrx you will cover areas of work throughout the billing process learning everything you need to know about revenue cycle management from claims entry to follow up and shifting workloads and special projects.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
· Prepares and submits clean claims to various insurance companies either electronically or by paper.
· Reviews accounts for possible assignment and makes recommendations to the Billing Supervisor.
· Performs various collection actions including contacting payers, patients, correcting and resubmitting claims to third party payers.
· Work on claim denials, payments and appeals, as assigned
· Professionally representing our firms when providing support to our clients
· Receiving, documenting, and transferring to the appropriate department all support queries which cannot be solved at first contact.
· Communicating on a regular basis with internal teammates and management to support objectives to be achieved on a planned and consistent basis
· Answering calls and assisting customers
· Identifying additional business opportunities within client accounts
· Communicating on a regular basis with internal teammates and management to ensure business growth goals are achieved on a planned and consistent basis
· Training and mentoring new hires as the department grows
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.00 – $18.00 per hour
