Kapital Freight is looking for Office Assistant to join our Avenel, NJ team on a full-time basis. As our client base grows – so does our team and we are looking for highly motivated individuals with a strong mechanical aptitude to connect with our clients!

Specific Duties Include:
Reviewing and processing vendor invoices and check requests on a weekly basis.
Matching up invoices to purchase order slips.
Resolving invoice discrepancies.
Corresponding with customers and vendors to respond to inquiries and provide excellent customer service.
Establish and maintain customer accounts
Answering and directing incoming calls.
Filing, data entry and all other administrative tasks assigned
Qualifications and requirements
2-3 Years minimum of experience in a prior position
Must be knowledgeable in Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
Must be proficient with QuickBook
Must have strong internal and external customer service skills.
Prior Accounts Payable & Accounts Receivable experience a plus
Must have effective written and oral communication skills
Basic skills in Microsoft Word, and Excel is a Must
Must be extremely organized with excellent time management skills
Must have a professional attitude at all times
Must posses the ability to work independently
Must be able to work well under pressure
Must be able to work in a high pace environment
Must be detail oriented and be able to follow directions
