Part Time Retail Sales Associate
Who we are:
Serendipity Gifts is a gift boutique on Main Street in Historic St. Charles. We are a fun gift shop that carries Simply Southern shirts and one-of-a-kind gifts. We are looking for candidates who are outgoing and want to work in a boutique environment. If this describes you, please apply today! What we offer:
$15 an hour
Day shifts (Typically 10:30am-4pm)
Store discount
Up to 15 hours a week
Responsibilities:
Provide excellent customer service
Operate cash register efficiently
Provide product knowledge and suggestions
Take orders for personalized gifts
Restock items that have sold
Perform basic cleaning functions including dusting and sweeping
Qualifications:
Must be 18 years of age
Friendly, outgoing personality who can engage customers in positive communication
Must be able to work alone
Previous retail sales or cashiering experience
Physical:
Ability to maneuver effectively around the store and stock room. This may include repetitive bending, squatting, and climbing.
Ability to stand long periods of time
Ability to on occasion, lift and carry heavy boxes up to 30lbs
