Patient Service Representative: Job Description
Full-time – Based at our Woodinville location with bi-weekly travel to Bellevue.
Summary of Position:
Bellevue Vision Clinic is the oldest eye clinic on the eastside of the greater Seattle area and has been providing exceptional eye care for over 70 years. We take pride in serving our community and continuing the tradition of building strong relationships and have fifth generation patients.

We take the time to get to know vision requirements and lifestyle needs during our thorough “No Rush” patient visits. We pride ourselves in providing personalized life-long care so our patients can look and feel their best now and in the years to come.
Our phone representatives are responsible for seamlessly directing patients through the intake and scheduling process. They will ensure that all procedures are closely followed, from pulling correct patient files to charting insurance information and collecting payments. This position requires high attention to detail, organizational skills, and a friendly demeanor.
Summary of Responsibilities:
Scheduling appointments over phone, by email, via text, and online
Greeting patients in a courteous and friendly manner
Basic invoicing, and A/R management, Process payments by phone, mail, and online
Update and verify insurance benefits by phone, fax, and online
Take clear and concise messages
Accurately triage and schedule emergency medical appointments
Must be able to work at our Woodinville and Bellevue Location
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Exceptional customer service skills

Compensation: $18-20 per hour (based on relevant experience)

We also offer paid training, paid sick and vacation accrual, and retirement account with employer match options. Compensation is competitive, and benefits begin after the 90 day probationary period.
