Griffith Rubber Mills, a leader in manufacturing for over 100 years, has immediate full-time openings for press operators and parts trimmers in our Eugene, OR rubber molding plant. Multiple shifts are available. Starting at $15, the wage is determined by experience and shift. Day and swing shifts available.Skills and Abilities
Able to follow directions, both written and verbal
Resourceful problem-solver with demonstrated ability to follow through on assigned tasks
Must be able to lift 50 lbs throughout shift
Ability to read a tape measure
Forklift experience helpful but not required
Attention to detail a must
Key Duties and Responsibilities*
Follow schedule from production manager
Coordinate material needed for assigned job
Perform and document inspections
Maintain a clean work area
Monitor equipment and report mechanical problems
Report quality issues
Education and Qualifications
Highly motivated
Upbeat, professional attitude
Dependable team player with flexibility to take on additional duties or projects as assigned
High School diploma or equivalent
