Job Summary: This position is responsible for sales, communication, growth and account penetration within an assigned territory and/or market segment by effectively selling Hop Valley products to key chain retailers in the Off & On-Premise channels. The main duties of this role include owning designated retailer or channel volume, profit, and share performance through superior communication, coordination, and execution of customer plan. This sales activity will include joint calls with MCBC and/or Distributor KAEs with the key goal to accelerate Hop Valley sales velocity by developing and selling-in customer plan that exceeds volume and profit objectives. The role is responsible for communication of all chain activity including new item distribution, price promotion & display features, and gap closure performance to the MCBC, Hop Valley, and Distributor sales & supply chain teams to drive execution of Hop Valley for our chain retail partners as well as regular in-market work to both evaluate the effectiveness of our plans and to identify opportunities that enable us to be first choice for our customers and consumers. The key contacts in this position include the National/Regional Retail Buyers, MCBC National & Regional KAEs, MCBC & Distributor Category Management, and Distributor KAE & sales team, and the internal Hop Valley sales & supply chain teams. This position reports to the VP of Sales.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Self-Motivated & Entrepreneurial drive
Excellent communication and listening skills
Ability to use data to analyze and build compelling selling stories for designated retailer accounts
Ability to Multi-Task and have good organizational skills
Must be comfortable with public speaking-small or large groups
Strong cold calling skills and virtual meeting selling experience
Analytical and problem solver = information based selling skillset
Must be able to travel within given territory and out of state
Proficient understanding of PTR & PTC strategy for each channel and retailer
Grow Hop Valley sales volume & distribution in the On & Off Premise chain marketplace
Execute work-withs with MCBC & Distributor KAE at retail. Know and understand your customers business.
Communicate often with distributor sales team to ensure execution of Hop Valley programming at street level
Play an active role in category management with MCBC & Distributors space management teams to drive long term category growth for Hop Valley & our retail partners

Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:
Bachelors degree or industry equivalent (strong knowledge & experience in beer industry)
Must be 21 years of age or older
Strong working knowledge of VIP, iDig, Margin Minder, Nielson or IRI, MS Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, Sales Force, SAP Concur
Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal skills
Ability to lift 50+ lbs
Work 8+ hours a day
