Description :
Develops short and long-term Human Resources goals and plans for assigned region ensuring alignment with broader organization priorities. Utilizes metrics and organization vision to lead and direct regional Human Resources activities.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

Serves as a member of the leadership team providing strategic direction on HR related issues. Works effectively as a team member in a dynamic executive environment in a matrix organization, and promotes teamwork within and across the organization by maintaining positive relationships and utilizing effective problem solving skills.
Provides direction, leadership, communication, consultation and support for human resources functions. Directs the resolution of HR issues.
Participates in development of HR policies and provides interpretation and administration of those policies.
Administers and directs HR functions such as employment, talent management, compensation, benefits, physician relations, employee relations, HRIS, learning and development and diversity efforts.
Coordinates recruitment services for executives for the region and oversees all employment activities for senior managers.
Directs educational activities and opportunities for all employees.
Coordinates communication initiatives and acts as a liaison, where appropriate, with communication departments and various administrative groups.
Leads the Affirmative Action and diversity efforts in conjuction with organization initiatives.
Creates and maintains an environment which encourages continuous quality improvement of services to all customers, both internal and external.
Coordinates will overall organization leadership in development and succession planning.
Performs other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION

Master’s degree or equivalent years of experience and education

EXPERIENCE

Ten years’ experience, with five years’ in leadership

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Frequent lifting/carrying and pushing/pulling objects weighing 0-25 lbs.
Frequent sitting, standing, walking, reaching and repetitive foot/leg and hand/arm movements.
Frequent use of vision and depth perception for distances near (20 inches or less) and far (20 feet or more) and to identify and distinguish colors.
Frequent use of hearing and speech to share information through oral communication. Ability to hear alarms, malfunctioning machinery, etc.
Frequent keyboard use/data entry.
Occasional bending, stooping, kneeling, squatting, twisting and gripping.
Occasional lifting/carrying and pushing/pulling objects weighing 25-50 lbs.
Rare climbing.
