7 days, variable schedules, can be assigned to vaccination, testing or PNR
Department: Positive Results Team

The Role:
PNR staff can be assigned to the Positive Notification team, or can provide professional support for vaccination or testing teams, as needed. The PNR staff will be responsible for monitoring, identifying positive cases, calling and documenting all positive cases at PNR remote. They will function as medical staff with the ability to provide telephone support, advice, and follow-up services to patients, and they can also work in case management. Possess excellent communication skills. Provides clear basic education for isolation, and ability to field questions in a compassionate but accurate manner. If assigned to testing, or vaccination team, the RN will be responsible for monitoring, providing vaccination or testing guidance, and provide direct care.
Requirements
Essential Functions:
PNR

Coordinate phone calls or email notifications of all positive results, within 24 hours of receiving results.
Monitoring daily POC (Point of Care) traveler results from community sites that require notification.
Checking the websites at least every two hours for results.
Documentation of results summary.
Open the e-sites for the daily list of notifications.
Maintain positive, professional, compassionate, and supportive interactions with client.
Provide CDC (Centers for Disease Control) guidelines and recommend that clients contact PCP when needed.
Other duties as assigned.
Work assigned schedules per clinic need
Monitoring daily results for assigned clinic – either vaccination or testing
Following standing orders for clinic, or clinical results
Documentation of activities
Maintain positive, professional, compassionate, and supportive interactions with client.
Provide CDC (Centers for Disease Control) guidelines and recommend that clients contact PCP when needed.
Other duties as assigned.

Vaccination or Testing

Work assigned schedules per clinic need

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Nursing Degree required, or similar clinical training
Washington state licensing prefferred
Minimum of three years clinical experience, preferred.
Excellent customer service skills.
Recognition of standards of infection control/public health measures.
Multitasking, listening, and verbal communication.
Health promotion and maintenance.
Must possess active RN license, or related professional certification. Must be Washington Licensed for Vaccination or testing assignments
Establishes a compassionate environment by providing emotional, psychological, and spiritual support to patients, friends, and families.
Assures quality of care by adhering to therapeutic standards of isolation and disease prevention.
Protects patients and employees by providing protocols for Isolation, prevention of infection by identified CDC protocols to prevent disease spread.
Documents patient care services by accurate and complete charting in patient and department records.
Maintains patient confidence and protects operations by keeping information confidential.
Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops and participating in professional societies. These can include online sources for continuing education.
Maintains a cooperative relationship among health care teams by communicating information and participating in team problem-solving methods.
Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
Demonstrated ability to build working relationships with individuals of various ages, cultures, socioeconomic backgrounds, and abilities.
Ability and aptitude with Microsoft Office 365 and other technology necessary for successful day-to-day functioning in a business environment.
Clean nationwide criminal background check and driving record background check.

Physical and Mental Requirements:
Mental Requirements – Ability to reason logically and make sound decisions, to consider alternative and diverse perspectives, to communicate effectively both orally and in writing, to reman poised under all circumstances, and to interact effectively with people in a positive manner that creates confidence and trust.
Work Environment/Physical Requirements – Long periods of sitting, walking to various work areas, going up and down stairs, working on a computer, talking on the phone, working with office/computer equipment, attending meetings, and sitting at desk or table while listening, talking, and taking notes. Frequently required to lift objects weighing up to 30 pounds. Required to work outdoors in all types of weather.
