Are you a Registered Nurse or a Licensed Practical Nurse that loves private patient care but wants something more? BrightStar Care of Wayne and Fair Lawn, an award-winning, Joint Commission accredited home care agency, is looking for an RN or LPN to balance PRN clients with marketing and business development responsibilities. This is the perfect role for an nurse who has a business mind, wants to keep their nursing skills sharp, and to use their natural ability to relate to families, case workers, health facility administrators, and social workers in a Sales capacity. Training for the Sales role will be provided.

Responsibilities:

· In an RN capacity, provide thoughtful care to client & patients based on personalized Plan of Care· Monitor and track changes in the client/patient’s conditions and needs, and keeps the Director of Nursing and any other appropriate personnel informed· Proactively updates client/patients’ family on plan of care, health changes, and concerns· In a Sales capacity, call on healthcare facilities, physicians, clinics and eldercare facilities in order to generate sales for both private duty homecare and medical staffing· Join and attend area networking and chamber groups· Seek, develop and participate in marketing opportunities in the community· Establish working rapport with health care professionals in the territory

Requirements:

· Current unrestricted RN license in the state of New Jersey· Certified CPR and negative TB skin test or chest x-ray· Minimum one (1) year of documented experience required in a home health agency, primary care clinic or health facility, preferred· Must be able to stand walk, squat, bend, kneel, reach, twist, push and pull. Varied assistance is required depending on the mobility of the client. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds· Experience with public speaking (in addition to presentation skills). Strong at persuasive and educational writing and speaking· Demonstrate exceptional interpersonal skills, multi-tasking and problem solving· Demonstrate working knowledge of health care in home and institutional setting· Comfortable with closing/asking for business· Exhibit outstanding organizational skills and a service attitude towards the community· Excellent written and oral skills.· Requires valid driver’s license, reliable transportation and insurance
