Description :
As a Supervisor for our team at Hawthorn Leadership School in St. Louis, MO, you will work under the guidance and instruction of the Director of Dining Services, responsible for overall service execution within the main dining room, healthcare, personal care, and special functions.
Responsibilities:
Properly execute the philosophy of the community and its foundations, as well as Fresh Ideas.
Conduct pre-meal service meetings for all staff members
Ensure execution of quality meals and dining experience, directly supervising service personnel
Execute special function events and weekly meetings
Implement programs to improve service, seasonal decoration, and monotony breaks
Maintain relations with all clients, supervisors, team members, and all other departments
Support and promote professional growth and development of team members

Comprehensive knowledge of dining service techniques, resident relations, plate presentation
Ability to uphold proper food handling, sanitation, and personnel administration
Prior experience in healthcare operations, preferred
Dietary experience or Diet Technician certification, desired
ServSafe certification; or ability to obtain certification within one year of acceptance
