Position Overview
We are seeking a dynamic leader to join our team as VP, Global Leadership & Organizational Development. In this role you will partner with HR Business Partners, and other stakeholders at multiple levels to develop and implement learning solutions that align with key business strategies and enhance organizational performance and design. Additionally you will:
Provide human capital development expertise, guidance and support for organizational design and development, team development or other related organization development needs that enable the organization’s business strategies, as well as partnering with Change Management and Engagement leads to support a holistic approach.
Lead efforts to develop the competency of leaders and employees. Sets the strategy and priorities for Global Learning and for Leadership Development efforts and manages global learning and leadership efforts.

Responsibilities

Works with the SVP, Talent & Organisational Development to create the global vision and direction for executive, leadership and management development programs and learning initiatives at RGA.
Provides organizational development and effectiveness support to HR Leaders and Senior Leaders across the globe, such as organization design, and team development intiatives.
Leads the RGA Learning team and creates and delivers an effective learning strategy and plan for RGA.
Leads, facilitates, and communicates the creation and execution of a global learning strategy, which prioritizes and focuses learning solutions (especially targeting individual contributor roles).
Using adult learning theory, actively contributes to leadership development program content and structure.
Partners with senior leaders, the HR team, university professors, consultants and vendors to design and deliver leadership development experiences that support RGA’s strategy and priorities.
Leads and manages the global talent and succession planning process for RGA, creating alignment across regions on standardised talent and sucession planning tools.
Responsible for assessing organization/workforce needs, deploys various management and organizational development programs, tools and processes that facilitate improved organizational performance.
Works collaboratively with Regional Organizational Development on the design, development and implementation of learning and leadership development programs, policies and strategies to meet regional business needs and program goals.
Partners with HR Business Partners and business leaders to provide expertise to diagnose business needs and create and facilitate targeted interventions to include organization design, change management, organization effectiveness, and leadership effectiveness.
Leverages expertise to facilitate a systemic approach to diagnose, create and lead business leaders through the organization design and workforce planning methodologies and processes.
Provides subject matter expertise to deepen the knowledge within the HR Business Partner team to build capabilities related to organization design and effectiveness, leadership development, individual and team development and intervention design.
Oversees the leadership program and global learning expenditure related to the items above within the budget agreed with the VP, Talent & Organisational Development.

Requirements
Education & Experience
Required:

Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial/Organizational Psychology, Organization Development, Human Resources Development, or related field preferred.
15+ years in HR and/or Organizational Development.
Organisational design and change management experience.
Experience designing and facilitating development workshops.

Preferred:

Master’s Degree in Industrial/Organizational Psychology, Organization Development, Human Resources Development, or related field.
Relevant instructional design, assessment and/or leadership coaching certifications.
Experience in the insurance/reinsurance industry.

State of Colorado: This information is provided per the Colorado Equal Pay Act. The pay range for this position in Colorado is $135680 – 202,120 per year. Base pay varies depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience and market location. In addition, RGA provides an annual bonus plan that includes all roles and some positions are eligible for participation in our long-term equity incentive plan.
