Description :
Catalent Pharma Solutions in Kansas City, MO is hiring a Warehouse Associate II on 1st shift. The Kansas City Clinical Supply Services Warehouse Associate II supports clinical trial projects, ensuring that all work carried out is in compliance with regulatory requirements, good manufacturing practices (cGMP) and standard operating procedures (SOPs). The Warehouse Associate II will also support other areas of operation as needed and as requested in order to support the needs of the business.
This position will support 1st Shift: Monday to Friday 7:00AM to 3:30PM

The site provides a range of integrated services for oral solid dosage forms, from formulation development and analytical testing to clinical and commercial-scale manufacturing. The Kansas City facility is a Center-of-Excellence for our Biologics Analytical Services business. Our talented team has over 25 years of experience providing analytical services for stand-alone and integrated biologics projects.

The Role
Supply and receive materials from the packaging departments.
Properly and safely uses pallet jack, powered pallet jack, reach trucks, stock picker, JLG lifts, and all man lifts.
Makes material moves in the appropriate inventory systems with minor assistance.
Performs inventory transfers using appropriate ERP.
Meets or exceeds customer timelines.
Handling of controlled substance product – a background check and further DEA screening is required.
Maintains general housekeeping.
Follows safety and manual handling guidelines.
The Candidate:
High School Diploma or equivalent plus 1+ years of previous warehouse experience with preference in inventory management and previous certifications using PIT (Powered Industrial Truck) equipment.
Ability to work under tight timelines, must be detail-oriented and well organized.
Working computer knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, Internet Explorer
Physical Requirements:
Must be able to stand on feet for hours at a time, lifting and/or moving up to 50 pounds, requirement to stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl
Must operate Power Industrial Equipment (forklifts, stock lifts, etc.)
20/30 corrected vision and able to distinguish colors
Position may require extended shifts or overtime to meet deadlines
Position requires ability to spend extended periods of time in the following GMP environments:
Controlled Room Temperature 68 degrees F – 77 degrees F (20 degrees C – 25 degrees C)
Refrigerator 35 degrees F – 46 degrees F (2 degrees C – 8 degrees C)
Freezer -4 degrees F (-20 degrees C)
