Description :
SUMMARY OF POSITION: Safely and efficiently operate resistance welding and assembly equipment to make parts at-rate and accurately to print. Performs packaging duties, as well as basic material handling duties to move materials and tooling within the department. Trains and provides guidance to new Weld Equipment Operators.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: This list of duties and responsibilities is not all-inclusive and may be expanded to include other duties and responsibilities, as management may deem necessary from time to time.
Operate Resistance Welders & Pemserter, as well as perform manual assembly safely and effectively to meet standard rates
Adhere to defined quality procedures to ensure quality parts through the use and care of metrology equipment
Assist in the machine setup process, as necessary
Accurately record labor, inventory, and job data in ERP system
Performs basic material handling duties with the use of carts and pallet jacks to move material and tooling
Maintain equipment thru weekly preventative maintenance tasks and submit timely maintenance work orders
Assist in the training of Operators, as necessary
Other duties as assigned or required
