WHOLESALE CUSTOMER SERVICE REPRESENTATIVE
POSITION SUMMARY Local, independent, environmentally-conscious nutritional supplement company seeks dynamic, proactive, and team-oriented individual for Customer Service Representative (CSR) position in our wholesale division. The CSR serves a vital role in the Sales & Marketing Department by providing exceptional customer service in a high-volume call setting. This position is full time and may require overtime as needed. The CSR reports directly to the HD Customer Service Manager through the HD Customer Service Assistant Manager. The position is located in Olympia, WA with a work schedule of Monday – Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. PST. This position will begin working remotely to start and will be required to physically report to work once offices reopen in Olympia, WA.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Acts as primary contact for high-volume inbound customer service calls in sales context.
Supports network of outside sales staff to coordinate ordering and smooth business flow.
Maintains excellent product knowledge to answer sophisticated customer questions, while maintaining Dietary Supplement Health and Education Act (DSHEA) – compliance.
Handles large volume of order processing via email, and fax.
Uses computers and computer systems to set up functions, enter data, and/or process information.
Handles large volume of orders for larger chain customers with a high level of accuracy within the vendor portals.
Performs administrative tasks, including assembling marketing materials, filing, etc.
Independently completes special projects, as assigned.
May compile, categorize, calculate, tabulate, audit, or verify information and data.
Performs a variety of other duties as assigned.
KEY REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONS
Knowledge of principles and processes for providing superior customer service which include meeting the quality standards for customer service and satisfaction.
Excellent organizational skills and work habits.
Ability to accurately type 40 or more words per minute.
2-years previous experience providing customer service (experience in natural products industry strongly preferred).
Requires a high attention to detail and accuracy.
Strong orientation toward working as cohesive team member, demonstrating responsiveness to management guidance and supporting the success of fellow coworkers.
Strong desire to excel, with a proven track record of success.
Demonstrated ability to work independently while maintaining focus and productivity to meet goals and deadlines.
Excellent organizational and time management skills and keen attention to detail.
Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.

High standards of punctuality and dependability.
Previous experience with SAP or other Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software
Competent with Word, Excel, and Outlook.
